Had not heard of Stars of the Lid before! Too fast paced - had to kick it down to 50% speed!
Just kidding, although I did do it for kicks for about a minute. Still sounded great, since YouTube pitch shifts it back up!
Fantastic music! Thanks!
(FYI, you were right about Heilung. Right after I posted my reply to you way back when, I was through listening to them! Except for one song where the woman was the primary singer. Listen to it occasionally. Started understanding some of the guy's words, and they are pretty dark and disturbing!)

Otherwise I really don't remember what I said about them way back when
I'm not a fan of their music, but they do have a good show.

Returned from a ten day sojourn in Israel last night, and still waiting for my body clock to adjust. Ate some wonderful food - far too much in fact. Visited some wonderful historical places - religious and secular. Met lots of nice hard working people of different ethnicities. Saw first hand how people in the West Bank try to live peaceful lives. And being there on election day it was interesting to hear people's reactions first hand.

Police surround the house, breach the door with weapons drawn[^]
I'm left with two questions:
1) How did it lock the door?
2) What was it doing in there that it needed privacy?
Anyone work for iRobot care to comment?

Not what I intended - but valid response - you get a point.
[edit] Actually, that's quite probably a better solution than what I intended [/edit]

Indeed, some of the the short CCC you guys are posting lately have multiple answers in my opinion. Walter Botts aka "Uncle Sam" was a Hoosier from Indiana.

Beresheet failed to land due to main engine failure. I feel sorry for all the people who put their heart and soul into this project, I hope they can find some satisfaction in the things that they did accomplish.

I was watching the landing with my family. When we realised the Beresheet had crashed, my younger daughter burst into tears. I felt like doing so, myself.
I realised that something had gone wrong when the acceleration suddenly dropped from 2.1 meters/sec^2 to 0.6, and the vertical speed started to climb. A "percussive landing" at 1000 meters/sec (2250 mph) certainly wasn't survivable.

To the point where I've been accused of "having eyes like a s**t-house rat" before; and it's true - I do notice things and have always assumed it is part of being a good developer.
But ... I've been driving cars for 40+ years and never, ever, noticed that there is a little arrow beside the fuel gauge which tells you which side the filler cap is on. I saw this on the internet, so I just checked. I've had the car for over two years, drive it most days. glance at the fuel gauge probably daily. Certainly weekly. Had I ever, once noticed the little arrow? Nope.
But it's there, and yes, the filler is on that side ... have you ever noticed?
Go and check if you haven't already.

Yup, I've been aware of them for years. Comes in handy when gassing up borrowed / rented vehicles.
The Beer Prayer - Our lager, which art in barrels, hallowed be thy drink. Thy will be drunk, I will be drunk, at home as it is in the tavern. Give us this day our foamy head, and forgive us our spillage as we forgive those who spill against us. And lead us not to incarceration, but deliver us from hangovers. For thine is the beer, the bitter and the lager, for ever and ever. Barmen.

I have been driving for 28 years and didn't know this either until a couple of years ago when I saw one of those useful car fact videos on youtube.
