I shared a google spreadsheet link to my boss.
Within a minute, I saw someone logging into the sheet. (Google Spreadsheet notifies this)
I hovered over the incoming user icon.. it says "Anonymous buffalo"
I had a burst of laughter, for a moment.
Guess it's better if google picks non-derogatory animal names for such labeling/avatar purpose.
I understand it's purely subjective & a cultural thing, but still companies should give a bit of importance to local culture/sentiments.

I'd be more worried that they'd used their 3TB of personal data about your boss to have come up with the "buffalo" profile (there's probably a page explaining what the profile names mean).
That's one of the attributes of google: the more cutesy and buddy-buddy they behave, the more devious their real objectives.

DRIVE?
Don't have a reasoning though.
[EDIT]
Haven;t been in the Lounge for a while; what' a "mini CCC"? What's 18 (in the subject) and 29 (in the clue)? Is it still winner-stays-on?
You have just been Sharapova'd.

I put a Mini CCCs write up on my profile page[^] - the numbering is, well, numbering.
And nope, not DRIVE.

Not a programming question but a Windows 10 and an MSI not talking to each other.
Got a work customer that is sitting in a Domain with AD Servers sitting on Windows Server 2012 R2. Their computers are all on 1803 and we haven't allowed the rollout of 1809 after Octobers clusterelephant.
They have a program update from Corporate Headquarters I need to install but it is complaining that .NET 4.7 is required. 1803 comes with 4.7.2 included, I have confirmed it is there via Registry and also Windows Components.
The MSI log created gave me nothing useful to go on.
Anyone got a pointer or a clue bat for me?
<EDIT>
Forgot to add this link in How a Windows 10 Update Might Have Broken Your .NET App[^]

Thanks for the help Jorgen, I don't know if I am answering your question or looking more stupid than usual.
Properties of the installation file give me the following -
Tags Installer,MSI,Database;
Comments MODPAK, 2018.10.19, WiX Toolset

Please add the girl to the sterilization too... making it public as "look how funny"... it is not the smartest thing one could do.

Not to nitpick, but his breeding ability has not been put to the ultimate test.

I had to be at work all day yesterday. Don't ask.
I made good use of the time by finally implementing a StringComparer which yields my preferred sort order for strings such as the following:
In:
Bob.txt
bob010.txt
Bobby.txt
bob.txt
bob11.txt
bob1.txt
bob01.txt
bob100.txt
bob2.txt
bob20.txt
bob02.txt
bob020.txt
bobby.txt
bob0.txt
bob10.txt
bob111.txt
Out:
bob.txt
bob0.txt
bob1.txt
bob01.txt
bob2.txt
bob02.txt
bob10.txt
bob010.txt
bob11.txt
bob20.txt
bob020.txt
bob100.txt
bob111.txt
bobby.txt
Bob.txt
Bobby.txt
I may write an Article about it once I've lived with it a while.

It looks close to an explorer-style sort.
"They have a consciousness, they have a life, they have a soul! Damn you! Let the rabbits wear glasses! Save our brothers! Can I get an amen?"
|
|
|
|
|
So you prefer your own sort
|
|
|
|
|
Yes, otherwise I feel out of sorts.
|
|
|
|
|
When you run out of sorts what then?
