Hi All,
Yesterday in my Office a member of another team 'threw their toys out of there pram' and went on a rage filled, shouting, feet stamping etc. at another team member (who the day before he had bullied a member of into leaving his desk and working remotely).  Are we in play school. Well got in early this morning for round 2 with a ![Java | [Coffee]](https://codeproject.freetls.fastly.net/script/Forums/Images/coffee.gif) in hand (it all kicked between me and the machine  ) and nothing the party who did the shouting & bullying hasn't shown up 
Got here early for nothing!

And to make it worse, the receptionist at our company has taken it upon herself to clean ALL the coffee machines EVERY morning at PRECISELY the time when most people come in. Isn't that against the Geneva convention or something like that?

Not nukes and radiation. Bioweapons, like xenomorphs, germs or (in this case) fungi. As we all know, most fungi are little biochemical factories that produce the craziest molecules with the weirdest effects. And some people yestersaid that the fungal flavor of the coffee somehow grew on them.

Every week somebody else tells me that I should be glowing in the dark. Last time it was because I still have my first CRT computer monitor from 1978 or 1979. But all that does not really matter, because I used to work here[^] and once in a while paid the chinamen a visit[^].

Why not suggest that your receptionist delay cleaning the coffee pots until the last half-hour of the day? Seems simple enough.

Having been there myself in my late 20's, including taking matters into my own hands and breaking into a contractor's house to try and retrieve a $10,000 camera that the guy had taken home to work on (supposedly with the authorization of the manager, but that was never confirmed) -- turns out the camera was in the trunk of his car -- and ending up spending a night in jail (the guy came back home while I was searching his house, haha, oh the irony of that!), $2000 in lawyer fees, having the case dropped by the DA and the DA telling the other guy he had to return the camera immediately or face criminal charges--anyways, from personal experience I can say that these temper tantrums are often the result of significant stress factors and feeling a complete lack of control over the situation. At least that was the case for me -- my direct manager was a lazy twat who took no responsibility and spent the work days flirting with a woman in accounting, I was the lead engineer on a significant government system and had an acceptance test to demonstrate on which hundreds of thousands of dollars of additional funding was riding. The system was itself a farce, the video surveillance system to be mounted on the MX Missile Train, and all the technical insanity that went with it.
So yeah, stress, very poorly handled, no support system for dealing with stress, etc.

I have the opinion that the person responsible was taking the fact his team were moved from an office to the large room we are all based in badly and wants to move back there. He has I am told a recognised physiological problem but... I always took the attitude of live and let live, he just wants a private office (which is barred due to corporate policy). His big mistake was bulling the young guy on the help desk.
