Share Mouse and Keyboard with multiple Computers[^]
Anybody using similar software? Looking for a trustable one that doesn't steal our keystrokes.
Just trying use a single set of Keyboard/Mouse to control more computers, connected to the same network.

Mouse is working awesome. Now is there something called Keyboards-without-borders ?
It just works for both!!

The keyboard should work on the display you have the cursor on...
I don't remember if there is any special setting for that, but it worked out of the box for me as far as I remember...

Yep, it did. I was a bit quirky and jumping to see if the keyboard works. The machine took a second to transfer the Keyboard-control to the other machine, for the first time. I didn't have the patience to wait and give it another second to make it work. Just got them working. thanks!

You are welcome!
Those small things can help a lot!
And you should be able to transfer files too (Ctrl+C in one computer and Ctrl+V in the other one)...

Yeah very much. It's extremely helpful.
Copying across machine would be the icing on the cake

I think you can copy and paste text and drag and drop files...
There was an option in the settings dialog somewhere or it came by default...
GAAAAH! I've pressed who knows what and MS Edge started to read loud what's written here! what a scare!
Well, what I was saying... see: Mouse without Borders - YouTube[^]
You will meet the Hanoi guy who made it and see some hints...

I used Synergy years ago. Stopped after I got more monitors on my desktop and didn't need to use a laptop as monitor #2.
Did you ever see history portrayed as an old man with a wise brow and pulseless heart, weighing all things in the balance of reason?
Is not rather the genius of history like an eternal, imploring maiden, full of fire, with a burning heart and flaming soul, humanly warm and humanly beautiful?

My vote is for Input Director. I've had extensive experience with this, and have found Input Director handles this best of the 3, with far fewer bugs or issues.

by any chance, it's in Beta? There's no mention about it on the app, but it's behaviours convey so. At times it makes me feel I'm using a "Dev-Build". There's so many inconsistent behaviours. But overall, it feels a lot better than IE, mainly the speed of rendering. And I've had lots of issues with Chrome recently, so just gonna live with all these bugs in Edge.

Definitely. May be its a marketing strategy MS tried? First to keep releasing crappy software for a decade & finally give a proper one, that relieves you from all the pain?

Your ms strategy is incomplete: soon they will break it ... again!

I prefer the Vertex browser; Edge is pointless.

...and I'm 2 hours 45 minutes in to my solitary celebrations. Just Coopers Sparkling Ale at the moment but the Bundaberg (Bundy) OP is in the bench and awaiting my presence.
Hey @RichardDeeming, I'll start a new discussion for you in a few hours. The Boy went out to a bar this afternoon with friends, he'll be back in a few hours to kick on with me, hope he brings something back cause I'm not sharing with him.

In his original FB post he did mention that he is not aware if anyone else claims that land. If anyone does, this means war. It would happen at Starbucks over a cup of coffee.
