If it goes on like in the last 30 years then it will be:
1. Secure your investment through our tool, blah blah blah
2. Using our tool, you can create reusable components (re-usable for how long?), blah, blah blah
But I think it's time to change this and no longer discuss about C # || VB || Java || Python || ....
It is time that a task can be defined in a meta language... and then tools (implemented perhaps in C # || VB || Java || Python ...) should convert this meta definition into applications
.
It means that the description of the task (in “the” meta language) remains ~"constant". The tools take over the translation of the “meta task” into the current techniques.

20 years ago for embedded devs it was the shift from 8 bit controllers to 16 bit, DSPs and the exotic new 32 bit controllers. 20 years from now it'll be the shift from 32-bit ARM to 64-bit and virtual machines along with IPv6 for your IOT toaster....

I think you give us too much credit:
1) Testing (greatest thing ever or sucks)
2) Code Formatting
3) Other Programmers
4) This horrible code you inherited
5) How to find a better work environment
6) How much trouble you keep getting into for posting things on CP and other people are reading!

If it's supposed to be KSS, why doesn't Bob have any pants?
After all - sure, Donald Duck (and Trump, too?) have nothing to hide, but even Disney realizes that mammals need covering in the conservative ruled censorship of mass media.
So - when's Bob going to suit up and bring some dignity to "The Lounge" - or did I just answer my own question?

There are only 10 types of people in the world, those who understand binary and those who don't.
