Very convenient.
I wanted to be able to run/debug the actual web site without having to comment out my coming soon page, and Route Constraints was the answer. Thank you google.

Good to see you are starting to learn the ins and outs of MVC.
Once you get the swing of it you will find it has a lot of advantages, especially with separation of concerns.

To be honest, I was already separating concerns. I think MVC is a solution looking for a problem.

You are more disciplined than most. You are a natural for TDD.

I tend to disagree with you on this. I think MVC is a solution just like many others, but it forces you to develop in a way that is better than some solutions.
It takes a lot of discipline to not add logic to your presentation layer.
Not the discipline I have seen in many projects I have worked on in the past. Usually management is concerned with the fastest solution, and none of this talk about maintainability.

Fitting to my current work, I give you this movie quote:
You call this archaeology?
The language is JavaScript. that of Mordor, which I will not utter here
This is Javascript. If you put big wheels and a racing stripe on a golf cart, it's still a f***ing golf cart.
"I don't know, extraterrestrial?"
"You mean like from space?"
"No, from Canada."
