What about that laptop?
Does it really helps being able to change it's "shape"?
I've found my new t450s to be extremely light, but possibly a little small in display (1920x1080 in 14" is wonderful, but I still have to see if my eyes will cope well with that or not...).

I mostly bought it for working on the train. The super high dpi screen has been useful - now the programs we release work happily in high-def, unlike Photoshop (from what I hear).
As for the shape... That's handy when I'm bored and want to watch a film instead of working. I hardly ever use touch for "real" work.

I've already seen that several times on different social media in the last couple of days.
I'd love it when the machine in the movie at the bottom was actually just fishing that shape out of red paint.

Wow someone out there needs to layoff the coffee.
If you seriously think a dislike of a beverage is grounds for a spam/abuse vote then you have drunk far too much of the stuff.

The world, unfortunately, is full of elephants. And we get our share here as well.
Have a +5 to compensate in some small way.
Now, if it had been Bacon you had professed such revulsion for, you would rightly be hounded off the site...

Had I a revulsion for bacon I would not deserve such treatment, I would however need medical help for such an affliction.

Per The Coffee - perhaps they haven't had enough? Either by ingestion, or perhaps something akin to waterboarding?
Per the Bacon - I find the passion for bacon upon these boards a pressing need for medical attention. Lobotomy comes to mind.
On as close as I can get, at the moment, to a serious thought: odd species that we are, it is the crap that generally inspires us to strive to advance.

Yeah that discussion yesterday went really off the road...
sorry for the trouble you got
BTW: my +5, because such a discussion should never be a reason to spam/abuse vote someone

else

I care nothing for the negative votes as they are only worth the paper they are written on, but spam/abuse can have more serious consequences.

We don't have downvotes now, but we used to. It was a narrow string to walk then, and now spam/abuse has taken its role.
BTW: You could always ask Chris to have a look at them, so I'm not too concerned. I view it as more annoying than a real problem.

Hey it may happen, when I started it was common for half the staff in a department to smoke, every block of desks had its own set of ashtrays and you smoked far more than you did out outside of work as when anyone lit up everyone lit up.
Had you proposed a ban then you would have had a similar reaction.
