It's still one of the (if not the) biggest IT-Exhibitions in the world.
So anyone going in private, or is anyone sent by his company to it?
I won't be there this year, them b******s closed Entertainment and Consumer areas :/

How much did they pay you for this one day?
The language is JavaScript. that of Mordor, which I will not utter here
This is Javascript. If you put big wheels and a racing stripe on a golf cart, it's still a f***ing golf cart.
"I don't know, extraterrestrial?"
"You mean like from space?"
"No, from Canada."

Then have a good day. Try to look for some people who you have not met in half a lifetime anymore.

Oi PompeyBoy! Where's today's CCC?
You still are celebrating England's win over Scotland in the Cricket World Cup yesterday, aren't you?
Your time will come, if you let it be right.

Maybe just getting up? It is morning (early morning) over the ocean...
Skipper: We'll fix it.
Alex: Fix it? How you gonna fix this?
Skipper: Grit, spit and a whole lotta duct tape.

PompeyBoy lives here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Portsmouth[^], as far as I know.
He's just:
1) Late.
2) Unavoidably detained.
3) Arrested.
4) Bereft of inspiration.
5) Lazy.

From the Wiki article.
"the only city in the United Kingdom with a greater population density than London"
One of the main reasons I got out.

Where did you go?
(Because with the exception of Luton, anywhere would probably be some improvement )

Not far[^]and you're right it is an improvement.
(Do you know the CCC I always get worried I've set it too hard if no one gets it in the first 10 mins)

You moved to somewhere that is the smallest county in Britain, half the time?
And that has some of the worst driving it has ever been my misfortune to see? Do they still not look or indicate "because everybody knows I turn here at this time on a Tuesday"?
The CCC? No idea - but I think it's probably a damn good clue!

Tides.
At low tide it's bigger than Rutland, at high tide it's smaller. (QI IIRC)

So, the old iPhone was dying, so I wanted a reasonably cheap Android phone to replace it.
Bought on on special yesterday.
not really set it all up yet, but quite liked the face-recognition lock screen as a bit of 'ohh! look at this!' ware.
Did all the updates tonight. And it had gone!
for thse that don't know, this allows you to take a photo of your mug, and then when you go to unlock the screen, you look into the camera, that shows our face, and it unlocks if it recognises you)
Just spent about 2 hours trying to find out why it wasn't working.
Getting very miffed - I'm used to things "just working"
Then I found a site that explained how it has been improved in Lollipop.
Turns out it was working all the time - it's just now yu just look at the screen - there's almost no indication it is doing face recognition other than a tiny head-and-shoulders icon turning into an unlocked padlock - and that happens so fast I hadn't noticed it!
So. I'm a happy Android chappy again (although i could do with the last two hours back, please, Google!
for those who have an interest it's a Moto-G 2nd Gen which was $220 & I should get a $20 store voucher in the mail.
