That is not the common core way. Not every child has the book so obviously it is bad.

Apparently, it was named for Kermit Roosevelt, who died 12 years before "the Frog" first appeared.
Kermit, West Virginia was also named after Roosevelt.

I wonder what the response would have been if "One Ring to Rule Them All" was resignified as a reference to a WWF Raw championship bout? Literate and/or liberal parents should recognize that when living in Kermit, they need to translate to the recognizable tokens of conceptual exchange.

What I am worried more about is that this school (district) in Texas is becoming more like Isis. How long before they behead the child. How is a child supposed to know how fine of a line there is between what is considered a terrorist act and is safe?
Also, with the suspension of the encyclopedia volume, it seems that the powers that be don't want Aiden to get too smart, or they will be superseded and he will take over their jobs.
A friend of recently visited Texas and said the people there are strange. This just proves his observations.

I too notice that a poorly written article which was once the point of discussion among the moderators, is at top of the list since very long.
The question might arise, is it really the best pic from codeproject?
Note: My intention is not to criticize the author. No offense please.

You should criticise the authors. In the original meaning of the word.
Proper critics can and should be both positive and negative. How else can we learn from our mistakes and what we did well.
And besides, if everyone alway upvotes everything, how can we tell the good stuff from the dross?
CP has become polluted with lower quality articles with a high rating, that in the long run will render CP unclicked in search machines which kills the rating and the site itself.

I agree: without garbage we cannot appreciate the other.
«I'm asked why doesn't C# implement feature X all the time. The answer's always the same: because no one ever designed, specified, implemented, tested, documented, shipped that feature. All six of those things are necessary to make a feature happen. They all cost huge amounts of time, effort and money.» Eric Lippert, Microsoft, 2009

So that means it was impressive on Thursday, and it is impressive on Sunday (here in Pakistan), and by applying Maths; which I do not have any idea about, chances are that it will stay impressive for a while.

A little extrapolation is dangerous...
The only assumption that I would make is that it was impressive on Friday and Saturday.
If you have an important point to make, don't try to be subtle or clever. Use a pile driver. Hit the point once. Then come back and hit it again. Then hit it a third time - a tremendous whack.

So, yesterday was the deadline for filling in the Self Assessment tax returns for last year here in the UK. Took me about 30 minutes to fill it in primarily because it said they owe me some money and I spent 20 minutes rechecking the figures. This is the first year in 20 years of filling them in that they have ever owed me money.

|
|

Only 30 minutes - I have a month to fill the papers, but I try to get the mood for a 3 hour, online session, which at the end will provide me with an endless printout (about 20 pages), that I will have to deliver personally!!!
Skipper: We'll fix it.
Alex: Fix it? How you gonna fix this?
Skipper: Grit, spit and a whole lotta duct tape.
