It is indeed mind-boggling to see these images. I recently came across the Ultra Deep Field[^] which is a tiny part of the sky, said to contain over 10000 galaxies. Within this field, the eXtreme Deep Field[^] is 13.2 billion light years away - just 450 million years after the Big Bang event.
Is this likely to jeopardize the Big Bang Theory? Is there a chance of finding something older than the Big Bang event itself?

That would be interesting.
My understanding was that the observable universe is approximately 13 billion years because, at that distance, objects are receding from us at the speed of light so we just can't see them but there is no reason to think that there are not more objects that exist beyond that distance in every direction. I'm sure someone will correct me on that if necessary.
