Scots may have Whiskey, but they'd keep quiet about it. Now Whisky on the other hand ...

It would be a fallacy according to what Alex Salmond wants.
1) He would share a currency with rUK, rather than having an independent currency.
2) He would re-enter the EU and cede power to a federalist Brussels.
Doesn't sound very independent to me.

Well maybe, but he might make it more of a Lounge question if he asks about whether the independent Scottish banks should upgrade from Fortran and Cobol.

Come to think of it to be save should talk about the Encapsulation of Scotland and a creating a Singleton government instead of independent Scotland.

Big waste of time and taxpayers money though it would solve the West Lothian question once and for all.

I hope that Scotland does not vote to leave the Union .But if they do vote yes then there is no way they can keep the pound . It is the same argument for the UK keeping out of the Euro , can't have Johnny Foreigner affecting the currency now can we .On a similar note Spain will object to them getting automatic entry into the EU in order to deter the Basques . Salmond can bleat all he wants about negotiations , but if Scotland do want independence then they ain't getting the pound and they ain't getting the Euro.

Actually the ones fighting in this moment are the catalans, not the basques. IMHO basques are just waiting to see if the others just sink in the middle of the sh1t or actually manage to stay above the surface. Then depending on the result, start b1tching to follow them.

I doubt that the Scots will ever leave the UK. Who would they complain about?

I love IE. It makes downloading Chrome or Firefox so easy.

It's a version specific rant or you hate IE in general?

I'm just using the damn thing in user mode - you know - googling stuff, checking email... I'm using IE10, and it's worse than 8 or 9. I tried 11, but it choked on the corporate email server. If you version count is going up, bugs should be going away. Right now, I have code puke all over my screen.
Sending from Chrome using an IE compatible component.... go figure.
I think what pisses me off the most is that it's just a browser. What the hell is crashing it so much? Do you people not test?
