There's nothing obvious on the UK page. Perhaps they only display them to people whose teams are still taking part?

I cannot quite understand why, but if you go to the Doodle page on Google, "this Google's reach" world map clearly omits Great Britain.
Ireland is not omitted and www.google.ie shows the Doodle!

They're not really interested in football anymore.
I find it much more interesting that the doodle about Germany vs Algeria isn't shown in Germany.

Couldn't Nigeria just buy the match, you know, with all that extra cash they have lying around over there...

Didn't those two play yesterday (the 29th)? Today looks like Germany vs. Algeria.

Had some Fat Elvis Waffles for lunch on Saturday.
"peanut butter mousse, bacon, caramelized banana, maple syrup"
They were elephanting amazing.
I inhaled them here: Sugar Factory [^]
Note, however, that they add a "cfn" charge to the bill which the waiter told us was a local tax and quite legal.
Moron: has he never heard of smart phones and the internet? I paid the bill and deducted the charge from a very low tip.

According to this, the tip was already part of your bill[^](search for CFN) , unless you tipped twice.

That is for groups of 6 or more. There was no gratuity: only that elephanting cfn charge and state tax (which is charged on top of the cfn 'fee').
I told the waiter that I would be deducting the extortion fee from his tip. He weren't happy.
