I had assumed he meant the navigation bar where the "The Insider News" under the menu "community" is indeed on the righthand side (well at least it's more to the right than the left)

Well if talking about a "bar" everything that comes into mind has a greater horizontal than vertical length So the menu on the left isn't a "bar" in my understanding

There are times when I go to the "bar" I enter vertical but end up leaving horizontal because of chemically induced vertical vertigo.

I guess it's also problematic to have a political center when you only have two parties.

Agreed. One generally ends up voting for the lesser of two evils.
When people ask me what my political views are I reply that I am a staunch moderate. Love the looks on the hardliners faces when they try to digest that. I tell them it’s just my Swedish background.

Love the expression, pity it doesn't work in Sweden, over here Moderaterna (The Moderates) is a "conservative" party.
In Denmark the conservative party is called "Venstre" (The Lefties). Confused yet?
I would never have guessed that you have a Swedish background with the name Houghtelin.

My mothers side, Nelson and Nystrom. Houghtelin is Dutch, I think, but my fathers side was a mongrel of nationalities. The midwest Swedes here are of the the mind, uff-da! I don't care what you do, yust don't do it in my yard ya know?
