It's a fair cop, guv. My collar hasn't been fingered like that since I was a nipper.

Here's an other deal:
- you come back with a completely different name
- we don't notice it's really you because you stop acting like this
Of course this deal is a little one-sided, but it's not really a bad deal..

That was very clever of him, considering he only joined CP in June 2007...

No, I sprang fully formed from the future mind gestalt of the multiverse about four and a half years ago. It's complicated, but your concept of "time" and "space" don't really have referents in this (rather primitive) language to explain properly. Just imagine a fresh egg and see the chicken dinner occupying the same phase space together with all of the alternate possible wayends and you might begin to get the idea. The wrong idea admittedly, but it's only a metaphor after all - it can't do everything!

I will get the Xbox and will probably throw out my PS 3 after some time if the xbox Bluray player is good enough.
But will wait until the initial bugs get sorted out. Microsoft lately cannot get anything shipped without major initial problems.

Actually the Xbox One is not really a console anymore. It has an x86 architecture, probably some windows 8 clone. All they have to do is ship with a keyboard, mouse and an Office installation and it will be pretty much a regular gaming computer.
for 500 bucks.
If they enable easy upgrading, then I don't see why people shouldn't ditch their regular overpriced PCs.

Well, as my PC setup can run games at higher resolution, on a better monitor, with higher framerate and better detail settings, I think I'll stick with PC gaming.

My brother-in-law bought us an XBOX 360 a few years ago. Maybe he'll upgrade us.
I'm still OK with my old NES.

PS4 with extra joystick and 3 games.
Ordered with Amazon for Christmas for my 2 boys.
Why, seemed a better spec than Xbox.

I pre(-release-)ordered the PS4. Should arrive with the second wave near christmas. (They told me it would definitely be BEFORE christmas, but I wouldn't be that surprised if it would take a bit longer.)
It's my first PS so far (Had friends & family with ps1, ps2, ps3 though). Usually had a Nintendo device, but the games there are getting rarer (in fact the only good games are developed by Nintendo) and those that are available just aren't as exciting to me anymore as in my more younger years. Haven't used my Wii in years now...
Main reason: I need a Blue-Ray player. I won't buy a cheap player without any updates etc. so that after a year you have to buy a new one as they changed something with their copy protection...
Second Reason: Might as well get some good games for the console though

I think our Dalek pre-ordered wanted to order pre-placed an order booked a reservation for an order for a PS4.
I am not in gaming anymore. In five years, I will be playing with the kids to CoD25 or FIFA78.
