Used to happen to me twice a year like clockwork. I'd come in to work, fire up VS and... license key had expired. Except when we checked, Microsoft's dashboards still showed it as valid and active. Only way to fix it was to break the connection to my work email then re-establish it and go through the signup process. Hasn't happened for almost 12 months, so I'm a bit nervous that it'll break at any moment.
OT: Mickeysoft sounds like a name that Disney would use for their internal software team.

Yeah, MS can be a pain. At the moment, I'm especially p*ssed off at their continual Windows Update problems. They really need to improve their QA on that process.
With VS, I've never experienced licensing issues. Though, perhaps, its because I go with the Standard subscription, instead of the Cloud subscription. With Standard, if the license expires everything continues working fine; you simply can't upgrade to the next version.
If you're experiencing the license issues that frequently, maybe something to consider? Though, in fairness, you shouldn't have to work around MS issues.

It does not solve my Problem, but it answers my question

They used to make sure we knew our hand signals, as well, when talking a road test to get a drivers license. The don't anymore.
