It was just over 47c in our garden on Friday (Doha) according to the wife, and just before I came offshore it was over 44.
Summer is definitely on the way!

There is a main difference...Jerusalem is inland and the air is so dry, that you actually can't sweat...
In Doha it probably different, because of the sea...

Is it not the other way round, the higher the humidty the harder it is to sweat and cool down because the moisture cannot evaporate.
Surely the reason you don't sweat is because the moisture immediately evaporates. The reality is that you just don't see the sweat collecting.

It was a kind of joke...Anything evaporating fast because of the dry air - even your sweat...

The only problems I see are (a) waterproofing my equipment, (b) having to come up for air every minute or so, and (c) convincing Management that I now identify as a dolphin.
If you have an important point to make, don't try to be subtle or clever. Use a pile driver. Hit the point once. Then come back and hit it again. Then hit it a third time - a tremendous whack.

It is 35 ℃ in Larnaca at the moment, but I live about 15 km inland, where we have a strong Northerly wind, keeping it down to 30 ℃ - but the forecasters say this will be a very hot summer.
