True and wrong at the same time. Thank god we still can't read any license place anywhere at any time. There are not enough satellites for that and we still have to position one to look over the area that we want to observe. Fortunarely a missile launch is easier to detect than a car with its license plate and by now enough sats from from several intersted parties will be pointed at North Korea.

I am sure you are wrong. I cannot count the number of times I have watched a TV show or movie where they are looking at grainy surveillance video and one of the people says "Can you enhance the image?" After a few seconds of processing, voila - a face or license plate that was in the background is clear as a bell.

That may be - slightly - fictional exaggeration.
I'm sure an episode of NCIS or CSI (Herself watches them and believes every word but I can;t tell teh difference) had an enhancement of a picture get a licence plate on a car behind the camera man from the reflection in someones eye...

I am absolutely certain that every police department behind closed doors has holographic touch screens that can be used on absolutely every criminal case! Not to mention DNA testing that happens within minutes and coroner results that take no more than a couple of hours!

Well, Firefox updated itself to version 55, and now my extensive set of add-ons are starting to act up.  It seems that a great add-on would be one that could automatically search for and updates all the other add-ons. Any ideas?
