Hello! If you are a programmer looking for a spare project to help, Microsoft's Small Basic is it! We are currently looking for volunteers to help develop .NET extensions for it and spread the word! If you are interested, please visit smallbasic.com to get started! Happy Thanksgiving!

Is there a language specification somewhere? All I can find is a short tutorial and some documentation of the library.

Sounds awfully spammy to me.

How many thousands of projects in development would welcome input from the developers that visit CP?
We are quite capable of finding things to donate our time to.
If it were about an open source project, your posting would have been immediately condemned as spam, and your CP account would have been deleted.
Being able to name-drop MS gave you a short stay of execution. Don't push your luck.
I wanna be a eunuchs developer! Pass me a bread knife!

Attention experienced professional programmers, my boss gave me this assignment in a language I've never done before, which has forced me to become a student of new stuff, with an extremely high dose of "duh" moments, as opposed to my regular area of expertise where I'm a whizkid expert know-it-all.
If you are looking for a spare project to help (while I get paid and you don't) this task is it !

Actually, it's not such a bad deal, when you examine the full context.
People who get their name on "the team" who help to make that (into whatever it becomes) will be able to put the emperor's new buzzwords on their resume' and have the edge in capturing work for the next great project (typically created by non-nerds who believe that websites magically create money out of thin air).
