Closing the lid is the best way to solve that age-old 'put the seat down' contention between the sexes. Putting the seat up and then back down requires two steps for males and zero steps for females. Hardly an equitable compromise. It's more equal if everybody has to raise and lower the lid.

Is it also true that as you dress more and more like Schroedinger your less and less certain if you're wearing anything at all; and as you're more certain that you're wearing something, the less certain you are that it looks like Schroedinger?
