that web browsing on the iPad has become complete crap since the latest update came out a week or so ago?
I can on,y browse to a couple of websites - ALL of the others I try to go to refuse to render. This is in both Safari (which absolutely sucks balls), and FireFox.

Nah. I don't like using systems that are locked in to a single hardware and software supplier ...

I started my carer on an Apple computer and quickly realized that it would be too restrictive and switched to the PC.
They call me different but the truth is they're all the same!

My 3 iPads are all hand-me-downs from the wife and are too old to get updates. I only use them as music players and occasionally testing web apps. Most of the time, months go by before I need to use one of them so they are usually dead. I really dislike iAnything.

I learned the same applies to their laptops. As I refuse to give Apple any money, I bought a second-hand MacBook Pro a few years ago (as I wanted to learn how to get around MacOS, even though I'm still otherwise no fan), and I got maybe 3 years worth of OS updates out of it before I started getting prevented from downloading anything new.
It's their hardware, and I can only use their software on it, and if I want to stay on the latest to avoid vulnerabilities that no longer get patched, I'm supposed to what, stop using it buy something newer? I could still install Windows 10 on much older hardware if I wanted to.

I've not noticed it but I rarely use a regular browser on my devices (iphone with safari).
(curious) can you share one site that you have issue with ?
I'd rather be phishing!

Hi All,
In my rush this am (pre-![Java | [Coffee]](https://codeproject.global.ssl.fastly.net/script/Forums/Images/coffee.gif) ) I managed to securely lock my car key in the ignition. Cue language that would shame a marine! I did manage to phone home (ala ET) and get a neighbour to get and deliver
it to the car park (thanks Gerald!) recover my Key from the ignition! I hate driving...

Someone in the neighborhood left her lights on today.
That would be very hard in a modern car that has automatic lighting or makes an alarm go off when you forget it manually.
As a good neighbor I asked around and found out who's car it was before she ran out of battery

Mine unlocks all the doors if you open the drivers door from the inside, remembers to lock doors that are open when you hit the lock button, ignores the lock button if the drivers door is open, and relocks itself if you don't open a door within 30 seconds of hitting the unlock button. Oh, and it locks all the doors when you hit 10 mph to prevent carjacking (but you can apparently turn that off somewhere in the settings, but I haven't waded down that far to find it). Apparently, in an accident all doors unlock automatically and the interior lights all turn on.
