Well, it proves that someday they can be President, too.

That is the same reason that Arnold has endorsed Obama!

America. If it's really so bad, why do so many people want to move here and run for President?

Evidently this forum is packed with communists.... or perhaps, their idealogical little brothers, Canadians, but whatever the case I've got your back.

I, like the many Americans I've seen interviewed by the foreign press, don't understand American politics. In my case it's down to lack of context - biased reporting from the press. In the Americans case, I assume that the press just hunt down the clueless ones to make America look bad.

It's not really a hunt, just go to Walmart.

If they just had a 3 tooth minimum at the polls we'd do just fine.

Q: Why is it called a toothbrush?
A: Because it was invented in Missouri. Anywhere else it would have been called a teethbrush.

Here's the summary:
The Republicans (Right-wing) want to help the rich, but screw the poor and middle class
The Democrats (Theoretically left-wing, but really center-right these days) want to help the poor, but screw the rich and middle class (Except themselves).
Both sides are bought and paid for by large corporations.
Both sides want to screw the middle class.
Both sides will say whatever it takes to get re-elected.
Both sides are hypocrites and liars.
Some of the American people have been completely brainwashed by one party or the other
Some of the American people are so sick of it or so apathetic that they won't vote at all
Some of the American people will go through all of the issues for each choice and pick the best candidate (In their opinion)
Some of the American people have no idea what's going on, so will just vote for whoever their religious leader, family member, or friend tells them is better.
The media will consistently and accurately report the current viewpoint of that last category.
This situation will continue until we reform the electoral system so third-party candidates are actually feasible.

Hit the nail on the head with that one.
The United States invariably does the right thing, after having exhausted every other alternative. -Winston Churchill
America is the only country that went from barbarism to decadence without civilization in between. -Oscar Wilde

All of the above, except with three parties, where the third just wants to screw everyone.

Where does Romney stand on this claim?
Wait five minutes.
Now where does he stand?

I got my ass handed to me Saturday night doing improv. Had a horrible performance, bombed, sucked, etc. I feel bad for the group that invited us to open. They chose us because they thought we were good, did not live up to that.
I'm getting back up Tuesday at a bar, though.
