Well, I have had this old chap for about two years now (and it was not state of the art when I bought it, I just needed a laptop). But today I'll get my new laptop. Finally.

I really can't recommend storing anything important in the cloud!
It's ok for stuff you don't mind losing: birthdays, source code, financial details and so on. But important stuff should be stored where you have control over it, and fast access. Gentlemens Special Interest material fits this category.

It has a goddamn AMD processor and needs about half an infinty to boot. It is not rubbish, it became too slow for my purposes (and I am not a gamer).

Installed Windows 8 on it and passed it over to my dad. And I enjoy a super fast new ultrabook.
