The only thing I can confirm about that theory is that I tried to get him to correct the term "post-apocalyptic" to "pre-apocalyptic". I also wouldn't describe my ammunition dispersal plan as "ammo just laying around the house". To the casual observer it might seem so, but in a run-and-gun situation where you're putting up covering fire and falling back in an organized strategic realignment of defenses, you will probably need reloads at various points of cover during said realignment.

Many moons ago, I worked for a company that did research for the government. It seems the A10[^] needed one engine just to counter the force of the gatling gun[^].
They also developed a depleted uranium projectile that could move a tank sideways when the plane fired at it.

You definitely did not want one coming after you!
The first ones had a problem with blow back obscuring the view of the pilot. Our company came up with a diverter but another company's design was used.

The depleted uranium was used as it is much denser than other substances. (Read DAMN heavy.) It would go through the tank on occasion. The videos were great.

I was under the impression that it could cut the tank in half.
