Guess he just needed a roof over his head. Seems reasonable enough to me - I think it would be a mistake to assume that he literally spent every minute of the entire three days actually under the bed!

Just come into my office!
After the overheating issue I posted about earlier, I went to the local computer store and bought three 12 volt cooling fans running off a dedicated power supply, and replaced the Mickey Mouse* fans in the cooling pad I already use.
No more heating issues, but I gotta turn the music up real loud! 
- Actually more like mini Mouse.
