Might sound laughable at first, but this might be really useful info for scientists.
On a related note. Birds can see the north and south pole, their eyes have magnetic sensors.

Iron is the most common magnetic ore, but IIRC you can also use cobalt, nickel, and some rare Earth elements.
The iron doesn't have to be particularly pure. There is a naturally-occurring iron ore, magnetite, which is magnetized.

Pastrami, with melted swiss cheese and homemade Russian dressing. All of which I'd have to go to the store to get the ingredients, make the dressing, toast the bread, and make the sandwich.
