When you open a PDF document with Chrome, it lets you slide through pages vertically.
When you open it with Edge browser, it does horizontally. (May be it's e-readers way of doing)
Which one you prefer?
Horizontal slides make me dizzy. The transition's disturbing the eyes. IMHO

Top-down... I have a scroll wheal that fits in perfectly to scroll... I think that after all these years, scrolling the wheal and moving right-to-left visually would confuse me...

 Left-Right, Then faint down. Seriously the sliding animation Edge browser does, makes a kind of dizzy feeling. May be I'm a bit weak with my eyes.

With a quick survey, nobody seem to prefer left-right. I don't why big companies keep doing something on their own and then correct things after user "feedback". lol

Vertical is so CRT-old-school. Left to right is like turning pages in a real book.

Did you notice- I did not call Chrome a Chrome "Browser". But I specifically called it Edge "browser".
Microsoft-Poor fellows I'm sure would attract the taunts. I feel overall edge does pretty decent. I did not feel any specific urge to move back to chrome, unless I'm working with Google Spreadsheets. Edge seems to be a bit buggy there.
