Stick it in the fridge and cook it on Saturday. Unless it was right on the edge before you stuck it in the freezer, raw meat can easily do two days in the fridge before being cooked.

It can really do a lot more than that. In fact, restaurants will often age meat by coating large cuts with oil and storing them in the fridge for a week or so before cutting them and serving or freezing them. It tenderizes the meat, and as long as the temperature is kept decently low, it doesn't spoil.

Most things can do a lot longer than people seem to think, really. I'd say a week for normal cuts of meat that you don't deliberately treat to protect it (like oiling the surface).

Footnote...We have seen in recent years that when totalitarian states are broken by the US/UN/NATO forces they descend into anarchy and internecine warfare.
So does one think that the destruction of the Empire by the Republican Forces is going to fare any better?
In order to regain control and peace, the republic are going to have to become a totalitarian force for evil too.
At least the empire had a career structure, allowed for trade, kept the peace, had nice uniforms and made the hyperspace express trains run on time!

In their situation I would, how can you force public sector workers to a freeze on pay rises and then demand near 32%.
they are given quite generous allownaces on top of thier wages as is.
in any other job hell no way would I give up a pay rise.

Oh, but that's so unfair to MPs!
I mean, they've had to give up all that money they were claiming for second homes that didn't belong to them, decorating boyfriends' flats, etc!
They have to make that money up somehow, and they have to do it in a way that they get it without it looking illegal, so that means huge pay increases!
You must be really cruel to expect such people to act so out of character by being honest and trustworthy!

Just because something looks a little like something else does not mean it is that other thing, nor does it imply contempt or insult.
Round things are notoriously difficult when building with lego.
I think it looks sufficiently like Jabba's Palace for them to say "Piss off and get a life and stop looking for insults in every corner of the world".
