It's gotta be a QA question that caused this...
Amazon UK has a "special offers" page, holding eBooks they are giving away: £0.00p including delivery.
Now, I thought a couple of them might be interesting, so I bought them for my Android Kindle app.
And I've just had a series of emails from amazon thanking me for buying each one and giving me a voucher worth £1.19 because I bought a non-fiction ebook...

This story[^] is almost identical to something that happened to my wife.
Or at least his version of it is, hit car, thought there was no damage, later contacted by police, immediately admitted responsibility, contacted insurance, covered repairs of all damage.
She was taken to court, given 5 penalty points on her licence and a fine equivalent to two weeks wages.
It'll be interesting, to me at least, to see what action is taken against Balls.

My parked bike was knocked over in the street by an old dear who got out of her car to see if she had damaged her car, she then drove away in front of witnesses one of whom left their details.
The police did nothing other than say they had 'spoken' to the woman - so I had to pursue the claim through my insurance company and have £700 of damage repaired.
I discovered that the police use 'discretion' quite a lot when it comes to these sorts of issues.
