There's an annual contest at Bond University, Australia, calling for the most appropriate definition of a contemporary term.
This year's chosen term was "political correctness".
The winning student wrote:
"Political correctness is a doctrine, fostered by a delusional, illogical minority, and promoted by mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a piece of sh*t by the clean end."

That's not quite right. It should also include something about defining which end is clean.

I'd like to know how big the minority is. It seems to be everywhere, feeding on itself. And the trouble is it can do real damage, as well as making the planet a more and more sterile boring place.

Poking characters into the keyboard buffer is a good way to automate an external application. It has worked in DOS and all windows OSes including XP. But now I have Win 7 and every time I tried to use it I get Denied!
Does anybody know of a workaround since sendkeys doesn't work anymore?
