I found myself questioning this logic just this past Sunday. We bought this house almost a year ago, and she continues to bring home new blinds, shelves, picture frames, light fixtures...you get the 'picture' right? My Sunday golf has been replaced with DIY projects. Yeah, she's happy about that, but not me. I can only hope that once she gets everything perfect, that she doesn't start the remodel all over.

How many of you have to deal with SAN storage? I've had to deal with 3 different devices so far, and it seems like a good idea as far as managing the drives goes, but in all 3 the configuration as been really finicky. Is that common?
I'm bringing it up because I was doing a deploy last night, moving one table into its own database and copying the data was taking a long time. I checked the IO on the server and it was running between 0.5 to 8 MB/sec.  I canceled the deployment and now I'm waiting for our Ops guy to re-do the pathing on the SAN. It was set to round robin after he rebuilt all the LUNs during a disaster recovery drill.

Some "added security" system from IBM (yeah right, like I believe IBM actually wrote it, and like I want to install anything IBM wrote.) The last time I looked at an IBM product (Rational Rose) I puked. But this was a good many years ago.
Receive alerts about potentially illegitimate sites.
Rapport lets you know if you may have landed on a fake website that gathers personal information like Social Security numbers, user names and passwords.
Block malware that attempts to steal sensitive information.
Rapport alerts you if malicious software, or malware, attempts to intercept or steal your personal information.
I do NOT want to install more crap (I already have enough) that sits in the background making decisions.
But the real question is, why should I trust this software?
Oh, and the bank is Berkshire Bank. Not a bad bank actually, free personal and business checking, their customer service has been fantastic, reasonable website.

Don't install it. I think it's legitimate software, but it caused trouble on a friends pc - slowness and the 3G modem didn't want to work anymore. After uninstalling it everything was working again.
