Hi, I need help with a bridge building project for a client. I've inexplicably been commissioned to build a bridge across The Delaware, despite the fact that I have no experience or any idea where to start. What's worse is, I have so little understanding that I don't fully appreciate the scale of the job I've been asked to do. Could someone give me step by step instructions and possibly provide me with some schematics? I've built bridges out of Lego before so how hard can it be? Thanks.
Thanks for the feedback everyone. My client says he wants something like The Golden Gate Bridge, only in blue and much shorter. Although that could change.
I have a pretty tight deadline so I'll need to get started on the welding straight away - those blueprints would come in handy if anyone has them. Do you think this sounds like a one man job or should I hire a spot welder? The budget is pretty tight but I might be able to stretch it.

I have this bridge in Brooklyn you could buy and simply put it in place. Should work as a stop-gap measure. :shrug:

It would work if they just used agile and scrum. They need to simply start welding steel together and pouring concrete. Any problems can be fixed in their next sprint and they'll be done when they're done.
