Returned yesterday from there. Still recuperating after the long journey.
Was there when they shot this pic. You'll find me towards the top right*.

Quote: A cyclist was killed when he was allegedly attacked by a giraffe
I like the way they keep saying allegedly so the giraffe can't sue for libel.

I think it's more to do with keeping the possibility of suing/charging the humans if the explanation turns out to be nothing but a tall story!

I think I've spotted the problem.

So my main work computer is Blue Screening all over the place and looks like it's pretty much dead. I've bought all the parts for my new one but haven't had time to put it all together due to work.
Right now I've moved all the data to another computer and setup my email addresses.
Thunderbird I just copied the directory containing the emails and settings files and it was all just there, contacts, account setup and new emails coming down.
Outlook on the other hand is sucking donkeys balls pretty hard. This account is IMAP and when I recreated the account all emails came down. What isn't there is my business contacts, they are all in the other OST file. Outlook 2013 won't open it directly and all tools to give me access want money. Free Outlook OST Viewer let's me see stuff but I can't get the contacts out unless I type them one by one.
WTF can I do to get my contacts from my other OST? Booting the old computer isn't an option, it Blue Screens about 60 seconds after logging in to Windows.

.ost (ditto .pst) files are a right PITA to read if not using Outlook ... I used a product in my last job to enable me to do so as a favour to someone (it needs C# to drive it), but its 400 Euro - at least you said a free tool you has could read the .ost file, so at least its not corrupt
(make a backup copy or two or three just in case)
I cant suggest anything that doesn't involve code & $$

I've seen interesting hints on that page...
Hope it helps.

Outlook uses PST for IMAP and OST for exchange. So, make sure you're copying over the right file to start. Failing that...

Did you try booting into safe mode?

Install the same version of Outlook your other computer had. Or, you can import contacts[^] from a PST file.
If they are in fact in an OST instead, then your contacts can be exported from whatever the exchange server is. In fact, it'll be recreated automatically the next time you connect to it.
