I see collar size, I see sleeve length ... back length, not so much! And that's only in formal shirts. Casual are just standard T-shirt sizes meaning that if you want extra length you gotta take extra width. I remain unconvinced.

I figured out a revolutionary solution to the problem.
- Go to store of some sort that sells clothing
- try them on
- buy those that fit
- don't buy the others.
I've found this revolutionary idea to work under most conditions (i.e., if sober).

As in the nearest city with decent clothing shops is about an hour drive.

I have the uncanny ability to get the wrong size, even after trying them on. My son tends to inherit the odd bit of clothing that is usually too small by the time it gets home - optimist I guess.

I just deleted a crapload of important emails from my Gmail account and emptied the trash. I deleted all sent mails, forgetting that doing so also deletes the entire conversation.

(This is one reason why I use Outlook - I can archive the PST file before deleting).

Why delete? Just archive instead. Stuff will then stay forever. I have nearly 200,000 emails archived.

That's where the moronic part comes in. I emptied the trash.
I always cc myself at work, so the sent mail folder contains duplicates, which can be safely deleted. I mechanically deleted the Gmail sent folder, forgetting that it nukes the entire thread. Of course I failed to realize it until too late.
