Edit: Seems not. Looks like only the stupidest filters would be fooled by it, since it embedded the original blocked URL in the translated URL.

eBay.in , by far, the pooorest ever e-com site I've ever used on earth. This is the 4 time I'm registering as a "new" user. And they keep messing with the registration workflow.
The last time I _tried_to_register, they were asking for my mobile number, and they said they sent me a OTP for activation it never happened. And I couldn't use the phone number again. It went into a total deadlock. That was like a real sh*t. And the customer support guy was talking like a dead man speaking through the tomb. Completely ignorant of the rotten state of mind their site takes an user into. He did not help me get through the login.
Now they had re-invented the wheels with email login/activation.
They send an activation link + confirmation code.
The confirmation code that they sent never worked. I kept on submitting the code multiple times. But it stayed on the same page. And just by a guess, I thought it might have actually activated in BG without confirming back with an ACK or taking me to the success>>login page. & I was right. It did let me login with my email. But no ACK anywhere.
Then, Now how silly it is to ask the user change their password after logging in for the first time. AS IF, they had send me a temporary password. I set my very own password during registration, Why the heck I need to change it? They had just sent me an Activation code to activate the link, they didt send a temp password. Then I changed my highly encryptic password painfully adding rest of the symbols in keyboard.
After having wasted a lot of time already , I managed to login with my account with email/password, Now it's freshly asking me to enter AN activation code. The old activation code that they sent , doesn't work. I'm locked again. $%^&*(#$. WTF, which activation code they are talking about? 
eBayofShit.
I can't believe such a HUGE company, they can't get a simple registration workflow right.
eBay is crappy everywhere or it just happens only with .in?

They can be handy, particular if you ignore the auction parts.
I get through about £40 worth of embossed food grade vacuum seal plastic a year, and it's the same price, from the same company as it is on the actual company website. But...on their site they want £10 delivery for orders under £75, and a credit card, on FleaBay there is no minimum order, no delivery charge, and I can use PayPal.
It's similar to Amazon, but without the pressure to try a Prime account.
A Bit Off Topic: I wanted a DVD for Herself (she likes the Dragon Riders of Berk TV series) and found it for £1 more on FleaBay than Amazon, but with no delivery charge which made it cheaper. Ordered it, and it was sent from Amazon as "a gift" using the sellers Prime account which gave her free delivery!

I too have heard that 'ebay dot in' is pretty crappy. Heard this with respect to their delivery service, and their sourcing too.
In fact, a colleague of mine got wild, and started **shouting** at the customer service zombie; all this during office hours. We had to go and pacify him. He is completely dismayed at eBay India.
Some of my friends call this company as Goobe (a Kannada word - search for its meaning)
