Hi All,
Amazon are a nasty company that runs near slavery (& on) politically correct, Ok! The Amazon 24 Hour delivery order Wednesday get it Thursday. For the last two items I have ordered it's been order Wednesday get Saturday... Admittedly they were quite odd items (Level action micro-switches & Milliput modelling epoxy). I am wondering if the 24 Hours is from when you order it or if it is from dispatch...

Normally it's "next day" from order - but some companies can't process and pack an order that quickly (particularly with smaller orders) so allowance is made for them, I think.

Oh yes. Maybe not 05:00 round here - out in the Styx - but they will happily deliver here between 07:00 and 21:00 seven days a week.
In a big city, I can see 05:00 deliveries working, if only because the other traffic is a lot lighter.

Does 5am exists on a Sunday? I have seen it as 5am Saturday Night++, but never Sunday...

The main reason is they have killed Brick & Motar sales, it often cheaper and you can get exactly what you want. Quote: And your ordering from them indicates that your convenience overrides your concern.
You do make a good point (a point I had thought of as I was posting this, hoped no would notice, how long have I been a member?). , Also Amazon are basically the only source for somethings now (I have had a couple of dodgy Flea Bay incidents)
