I used to do much the same with Airfix model aircraft.
A friend of mine decided to go one better with a model aircraft carrier but floated it in a washing up bowl full of petrol...
He had just lit the fuse when his dads car turned into the driveway. Oops.

I didn't have any access to real model rocket engines when I was a kid  - I don't think they were available until I was in my late twenties or so. Then I bought some!

Currently, I am planning just the one purchases on the list (in two categories).
But last year, I wast planning on buying a new PC at all. It's only because the old one died that I did.
So asking what I "will buy" this year is pretty pointless. If my phone breaks, I'll get another. I'm not going to smash it deliberately (it's my money that pays for the replacement, after all).
