Possibly because anyone can edit the FAQs, why should the original poster take the credit for them. The FAQ articles from the CodeProject staff are editable by Silver authors, but also other people can write FAQs, and they can set that only Admins/Editors can edit their articles. It may also be a normal case as here are over 10M members, some days ago i got 9 upvotes at a time and then in another day i got 4 downvotes(16*4=64 points, which is rather large than you) within 30 secs. So it may happen, just calm and quite. If you are true code lover person, you should look for more good answers to deliver, nothing considering about points only. I've reviewed all my settings and can't find a specific setting to enable on-line notify.
