Yup: one of the gourmet food trucks in LA served a burger with peanut butter and jelly. It was amazing.

Place here does that, but the other half is allergic so I tend to avoid stuff like that and only indulge when she is out of town.
That said, it is really good, they also grind bacon in with the patty, fry pickles and put them on the burger, along with a few other wonderful options.

Once again, I see Christianity being mocked in the lounge. Why is it somehow acceptable to attack Christian's personal beliefs here? Are Christians supposed to simply ignore the jabs and taunts?
If you don't believe, that is your choice, but please don't attack others that do.
If you want to attack them, please do so in the Soapbox, not in the lounge.
Do I expect to be ridiculed? Yes. Why? Well, only those that choose to ridicule can provide your reasons, but history has shown that anyone who believes will be attacked.

Where was cristianity mocked in the lounge? I did see a post about easter but it seemed serious and not mocking in nature.
As for celebrations of the godess Eostre, that is not christian. It is an alternative to christian beliefs, but that should be allowed if christian beliefs are allowed.

I did get that impression.
It is funny how christians are appalled when people don't follow their beliefs and offended when people follow Norse or Celtic beliefs.

I am offended that you didn't mention Atheists in your list of religions! Um, is it a religion itself? A belief in not believing?

Curiously enough, "not playing golf" is one of my most avid hobbies! I do it every day, sometimes spending the entire day doing it.

I'm not sure what you're referring to either. I may have missed it, because I don't get around to seeing all the posts.
I am a Christian. I'm not angry or even upset when I see a post overtly bashing Christianity or even the more common passive-aggressive bashing. It makes me sad for where those people are at, and I'm sure it does God too -- just as if your kid were to ridicule you or say he or she hated you. It doesn't change my belief structure.
I agree with you that attacks on religion should be in the Soapbox.

I take it that you're limiting this to what you're seen here on CP? 'cause, outside of CP, history has also shown the opposite. Those that don't believe will be attacked by those who do.

I saw the "Christianity" on the front page and rolled my eyes with a "here we go" and was pleasantly surprised.

I guess we can add this up to not only focus on Christianity, but any religion. It's a programmers site, and if we'd follow the Lounge rules, any religion shall belong into the SB.
To be fair, the attacks (even though I don't reckon having seen one recently - Maybe I missed something?) seem to come from atheists, who seemingly believe that their no-religionousness frees them from the no-religion rule.
