You have to watch them man. All will be made clear.
PJ Arends wrote: but the first Mortal Kombat movie cost $18M1 and grossed $70M in the USA alone. Not too shabby. But like usual, they did not quit while they were ahead and tried to make a sequel2 that did not do as well.
Well yeah, makes sense. The first one people didn't know what they were getting into. You buy a ticket because of the popularity of the title, realize you just got shafted, go home. For round two people wised up.

Alternatively, wouldn't it be nice if all that money were spent on something worthwhile?

Imagine the possibilities: next movies might be based on DX-ball, minesweeper or snake.

Well they made a drama from Farcebook, well not them but the industry, and with the mortal combat experience it should get bloody and it is sci fi so...
Oh you were expecting a plot, silly bugger!

This is Javascript. If you put big wheels and a racing stripe on a golf cart, it's still a f***ing golf cart.

Didn't think about that one; this may be the most valid reason of all.

And then there would have been a nice series: Weven, weight, wine. Wen somehow sounds too chinese.

Be more interesting that the actual kernel version is.

Especially since the kernel version numbers haven't made any sense in a long while. (I do wonder if changing the minor number lately is because of a lot of software which doesn't check the version number correctly.)

Yes. Congratulations on that call.
Now tell us the truth - you slipped Myerson a fiver to get him to rename it, didn't you?

Only in that it's not called Windows 9. You were asserting that it would be called something completely different ala "Vista" and that it wouldn't be based on Threshold. You also said the announcement was supposed to be on September 20 and then that it wouldn't happen today, on September 30. On top of that, you tried to shout down anyone who disagreed with you.
EDIT: So, even if you get a point for it not being Windows 9, you lose half a point for it still using a number and being called Windows 10. Added up, your score is now something like:
Greg: 1/2
Everyone else: 1000
