1) Do I care?

4) Do you know what punctuation is, and how to use it?

I learnt English in Bengaluru (earlier called Bangalore) in India.
For the first 15 years of my life, I used to pronounce "often" as is given in http://dictionary.cambridge.org/dictionary/british/often[^]. In my sixteenth year, I met an English teacher who was Oxford-educated, and used to pronounce the 't' in "often". He was educated in Oxford during the 1950's. After that, I too started pronouncing the 't' in "often", but others used to correct me and say that 't' is silent in "often".
Analogous to witch / wich.
Not to justify, but just for info. No offence meant.

OK - does he use C, C++, or C#?
Good - wait till he leaves his computer, then edit one of his source files.
Delete one or two semicolons, and replace them with this: ;
It's a Greek question mark, U+037E that just looks identical to a semicolon.
Now watch the compilations errors. 
If you remember which lines, you can also fix it for him - for a price...
You can copy and paste it from here, or look in Charmap - there is no ALT or ALTGR sequence as far as I can find.

Does a C++ editor accept Unicode? I assumed it was only ASCII.
