Having seen numerous films with American state schools in, they don't look like they've changed much since Frank Kapra's heyday.

The sad part is, living in the South, there are people of a shall we say... pale colour... that want society to move forward, but there are many people that have an 'entitlement' mentality that stifle meaningful discussion.
And this from someone who is a Canadian transplant, so no preconceived notions or 'cultural' bias.

I liked the trailer, the casting seems good too. I hope Emilia Clarke will act better than in Game Of Thrones. And that it won't fail as the new RoboCop did.

I learnt English in Bengaluru (earlier called Bangalore) in India.
For the first 15 years of my life, I used to pronounce "often" as is given in http://dictionary.cambridge.org/dictionary/british/often[^]. In my sixteenth year, I met an English teacher who was Oxford-educated, and used to pronounce the 't' in "often". He was educated in Oxford during the 1950's. After that, I too started pronouncing the 't' in "often", but others used to correct me and say that 't' is silent in "often".
Analogous to witch / wich.
Not to justify, but just for info. No offence meant.
