Maybe you know something that I don't? 
It is useful to me since I have 2 monitors and can't always locate the cursor easily. This makes it obvious where the cursor is.
If you find it offensive on any level just don't use it.

Erm, I've been using that since Win XP first came out.
All that is required to inform people of it is a single line of text (<100 bytes), not 50MB of video files (>50,000,000 bytes).

Why Should You Care?
If you like to read ComputerWorld.com, CIO.com or InfoWorld.com articles but really hate the annoying crap all around the article, then you'll like this.
You can try it very easily and I think you'll find it very cool.
Here's what it does.
1. You go to :
http://newtonsaber.com/FreedReadR[^]
2. Drop the list and choose either ComputerWorld or InfoWorld and you'll get a list of current articles.
3. Next, click on any article link that appears.
4. Now a window will pop up
5. click the Load button. ( I will explain later why you have to click load)
6. You'll read the article without any other garbage content surrouding it.
Note: other article feeds just load in a new window
