I'm guessing they were referring to the computed GOTO - which allowed a sort-of implementation of the switch/case type statement
Used to use that a lot back in the day for menu handling!

Interestingly enough the GOTO statement got very bad press through the 80's and 90's and it has now made a comeback.
I occasionally make use of the return statement nowadays to avoid horribly nested code that is difficult to read.
Also the break statement is another example.
It just appears that the 'G' word has bad press.

VLC might do. It can both stream and show video from a stream, amongst a zillion other things.

To put this into perspective, if you were to spread it out evenly, it's somebody's birthday in that household every second day, year-round.

According to the birthday paradox the chances that out of 50 people two were born on the same day is almost 100%, so I'm having a suspicion that it's a little less equally divided...

Well, I reckon your probability of getting poisoned goes up exponentially with the number of wives. So with 4 wives it goes up 2^4 = 16 fold. So, it's much better to stick to one wife. And this is pure logic, so it must be true!

I never liked tea that much (only with lots of sugar) and I really hate coffee.
So then I got a job and realized everyone drinks tea or coffee. So I decided to try tea. No sugar, as I'm trying to be healthy.
I stopped drinking it a few times because I really didn't like it.
Now since a while I even drink it at home in the evenings.
And today I drank tea with my breakfast (nettle tea) and in the afternoon (caramelised pear) at home.
I'm now enjoying a vanilla and caramel tea.
Might go for a green tea with lemon later.
What's happening to me?
And for those who think all those flavours are for women and wussies, I really don't care

I'm too, never drink coffee...but drink a lot of 'tea' no real tea (those green leaves) but what called herbal-tea...
I drink it without sugar (occasionally honey) and drink it hot and cold too...

I'm also liking the ice tea flavoured lemonades, they're quite new here (not really very new, but like one to two years I think).
Of course those all contain loads of sugar...
