I agree Notepad++ is probably the most general purpose editor and light weight.

When not using Visual Studio, I use EditPlus and have been for nearly 15 years.

I would check if I can get a free download of Dreamweaver 4. (Do not confuse with the later CS4 version). Sometimes you can get these older Macromedia / Adobe products legally for free. It was a very nice and potent little editor that I still use from time to time.

For quick and dirty html or script editing I use the VS Shell that installed with SQL Server 2008. Works like a charm.

Today the girls are both getting braces fitted, it makes a change from having teeth yanked out of my gob. Yesterday I had a third tooth out and now my mouth hurts both sides. Mrs Wife has now gone in for double fillings; back atchya.
All I can say to you kids is, forget the sunscreen and get some good dental care.
We are leaving for the return leg on Saturday and back to normal on Monday morning. The last two weeks have been expensive, very busy and painful, and I'll be glad to get back to the peace of the UK.

You probably have, but what dentists don't like to teoo you is that, because teeth are part of the human body, cavities heal!
As long as you keep your teeth clean, all those little holes, that dentists charge you for enlarging with their torture devices and then filling, will just get better.
You might get three or four in your lifetime that will actually have to be filled.

Has been my experience, hence the joke. I know a guy that told the dentist to clean his teeth. The dentist wanted to fill 2 'soft spots'. He said no and left.
Next year, same friend went to same dentist to have his teeth clean. Dentist wanted to fill 2 'soft spots'. He asked where they the same ones as last time? The dentist was confused. So he asked where the soft spots were, and they were in entirely different places... He said no and left.

Not quite. We still have a home and family here. Normally we spend half the summer doing jobs such as dentist, medicals, repair work on the homes, visiting relatives, etc, etc, etc. So we took an Easter holiday and came over to do as much of the work as possible, that way August can be all fun*.
- My parents are visiting this summer so the levels of fun will be directly proportional to the amount of alcohol**

On Tuesday I had two titanium screws inserted into my upper jaw, one on each side, in preparation for false teeth. I suffered almost no pain during the surgery, and none since. Although the initial injections stung a bit. I suffered quite a bit of pain when it came to paying the bill.
