The thing is I don't like Quantum Mechanics either. Not because I'm jealous, but because I don't want to call an Electron (or other similar particles) a wave, just because I can't explain the fact how it goes from the both slits at the same time. That's totally wrong!
Newton never knew some facts, like what is gravity or how it works. But he was better than these guys because he clearly said, "No, I don't know it yet!". They, are coming up with bizarre ideas. Quantum Tunnelling, Quantum Entanglement... Quantum stupidity!

Just wasted half an hour trying to order the first thing I came across on the IKEA site because I couldn't find the submit order button. Turns out the site's optimised for IE meaning that in Chrome the stupid button falls outside the stupid frame and can't be reached! Of course there's no contact info for the webmaster (do we still call them that) so no doubt it'll remain that way for the rest of time! I had to use Edge in the end ... I know ... I feel so icky!

On Chrome and Firefox and IE the ikea.ca website looks fine, both "quick" buy buttons and regular buy buttons are at their proper places.
Maybe its a Win10 issue ?!?
I'd rather be phishing!

Nope it's the GB site. The Canada site is still slightly cut off at the right edge for me but nowhere near to the degree that the UK's paltry excuse for a page is!

Win 10, Chrome 64 (48.0.2564.109 m)
Went to Ikea UK site (and now I feel icky...)
Found an item, clicked "add to basket"
Clicked "View your shopping basket"
Entered a postcode (but not mine). Clicked "Calculate"
Swore. Put a space in the middle of the postcode. Clicked "Calculate"
Was told "Item(s)in your shopping cart are not available for purchase. Please review your cart or contact customer service."
Was glad.
Didn't press the "Begin Checkout" button, but could see it and it was clickable.
Basically, no problems. Except it was Ikea.

Got into the office yesterday o find that MS had 'updated' my PC. I normally leave the office with all my apps still open (VS instances, SSMS, Jave EE, Outlook, Skype, Notepad++, Paint.Net, browsers...)
When I tried to unlock my PC, it just sat there frozen... it took me over half an hour to get it to respond. I finally got everything closed and the PC rebooted.
Then my wife texts me a pic of my home PC showing the Win 7 startup splash screen. She said it just sat there all day. After multiple attempts to cold boot, I finally had to do System Restore, twice, to a point 2 days ago.
Error log showed MS updated my PC in the middle of the night. the same with my office Pc.
Anyone else see problems with their latest 'Fix'?
If it's not broken, fix it until it is

My wife runs Win 7 Pro. She also had the update, but no issues after a normal restart. I run Win 10 Pro and also had a major update yesterday or the day before. No issues to report, but the computer did two automatic restarts before it started working normally again.

My gf was in the middle of filling out a student loan financial aid form online when Windows 7 decided "time to reboot and install an update." F**** MICROSOFT F*** YOU!
I had forgotten to turn off Windows update after re-installing the OS after she got that ransom virus by opening some document from a supposedly reputable person who probably didn't know they'd gotten infected.

Just a stoopid question, but have you considered keeping a systems drive image for every computer in your household? It takes me about ten minutes to restore one of our systems to what it was when the image was made. This is a lot faster than re-installing the entire OS and apps. (I use Macrium's Reflect for images - it's free.)

Definitely worth a 5: image backups are an essential (provided the drive they are saved to is not permanently connected)
I use AOMEI Backupper Standard - it's also free, but it can load its images as mountable drives as well. Which means you can retrieve individual files as well as restore a whole disk.
