So Facebook is recommending me some pages to like because other people liked them.
It's showing me music as I am on a music page.

I've come to the conclusion that I'll never have to create a Facebook account, if only because I'm apparently already surrounded by more people who insist on telling me what they saw on Facebook than I'd ever care to know. Which is not at all.

It is quite useful to have an account ... in a false name, of course ... to sign in to various things on t'interwebs but there;s never any need to actually visit, I agree.

If a site requires me to sign in even just to view something in read-only mode, I can guarantee I will visit it exactly once.
So far nobody's convinced me I've been missing much.

It must be a quiet day for you if you need to post facebook updates on this site. Seriously who give a sh*t about facebook recommendations made to YOU. If you want to spend your time faffing around on social media that is fine but really we don't want to know.

I don't want to know about half of the things (probably more) I find in the Lounge, but you don't see me bitching about it
Anyway, I thought it was funny that one of the biggest tech companies in the world maybe made a boo-boo in one of their recommender algorithms, but it seems the term "Facebook" on CP works like red to a bull
