There was one episode of Top Gear (the real one with Jeremy Clarkson) where they were discussing how only women named their cars. Turned out no men in the audience named theirs but some ladies did.
One had a car called Miles.

On the other hand, some men name theirs (nuff said, this is the Lounge, not the Soapbox!), and I have never heard of a lady doing that!!!

I keep away from the Southern United States as much as possible, but as I've been told by those who spent time there it is very common for men to name their cars.* My brother, as well, went to college in the Mid-Western part of the country. He felt compelled to name his car as everyone else around him did (his was a parody of their strange custom).
* So common that an asinine TV series "Dukes of Hazard" had their car named "The General Lee".

I finally solved the issues I was having with the Sony TV by performing a factory reset.
It seems that a bug in the software version that was on the TV could cause inputs to stop working.
I updated the TV to the latest version, which has a fix for the bug.
Technology can be a pain sometimes.

The metaphorical solid rear-end expulsions have impacted the metaphorical motorized bladed rotating air movement mechanism.

Not even close.
Sony realised that doing things to take ownership of people's property was wrong, and not only stopped doing it, but provided the means to undo the things that they had done.
ms has too many wumaos in the field, so they don't even hear the voices of the people they've offended, let alone try to make things right.

...only after a Microsoft employee found their rootkit, and proved that Sony's first "removal" was a farce.
