I hope I could get help developing this. I am not done with stuff, want to publish examples. Don't know how to code either. It would be similar to 80's basic (vsbasic)  , with new ideas.

But... don't just give a link to a random site, few of us will follow it, given that we have no idea who you are. Explain what you want to develop, what you expect to contribute, and what you expect from collaborators. Add in what they get out of it as well.

Looking at that link in Fiddler[^] (not that I'm paranoid much!  ) shows a lot of tracking code, some "free hosting" adverts, and a tiny amount of text that you could easily have posted in your message.

If you're using a separate app for measuring (which is usually the case), you have to also change the scale in that app.
If not, contact the developers and ask how to link the yardstick (another word for "measuring line") to the scale function.

OK, I can't really tell anything from that, because I don't even know what language it's written in.
What I suggest is that you go to the list on the left-hand side of this page, click "general programming", click the link for the language it's written in, and ask again there. We have experts in all languages who are willing to help, so you should find what you need there.
They will probably ask to see source code, though, so make sure that you have permission to hand over the code to a public forum.
