Highlight selected items in listbox while it is in disabled mode

Hi All,

I have a requirement, i have a dropdown list with values "Yes" and "No". Similarly i have a list box. I want to allow the user to select list box items when user selects "Yes" as dropdown value, If user selects "No" in dropdown list, list box should box disabled as well as i want to highlight previously selected list box items in some color but we should not allow user to change selected items in the list box.

I am facing difficulty while highlighting selected items in some color when the list box is in disabled mode.

Please help me. Please correct me if i am wrong.
