retrieve images form local drive and display in asp.net

I have an asp page in which i have to display the image which is stored in my local disk C. how can i do that...i am not able to do so.

Imagine someone who wrote a web page and whenever you visiting that page it access your local drive!!!
All hackers are waiting for that!
You an not access from a web page the local drive of one who browsing your site, and that for obvious security reasons...

You need to set up your computer or a server with IIS or have a web-host and upload the images to the site.
The images should be copied to a special folder or you can make a virtual directory.
The images can be presented using asp.net elements or as HTML image tag and use JavaScript to make dynamic changes.
